A profile is a material used for thermal conduction and dissipation. It is extruded into the desired shape, then cut, precision-machined, surface-treated, and finally formed into a profile heatsink. Aluminum profile heatsinks are widely used across various industries in thermal management applications.
A finned heatsink is a type of heatsink that uses a finning tool to precisely cut an entire base material (aluminum or copper) from the top, fold it back to a position perpendicular to the base, and repeat it at specified intervals to form fins. Finned heatsinks can achieve thinner fins with higher density, increasing the heatsink area per unit volume and thereby improving thermal dissipation efficiency.
A heat pipe module heatsink is a thermal dissipation device that applies the heat pipe principle. It is generally composed of a heat dissipation base, heat pipes, and fins welded together. It can solve thermal dissipation challenges caused by limited space or concentrated heat, overcoming the contradiction between heat generation power and effective heat dissipation capability that traditional cooling methods cannot overcome.
