What Is a Brazed Liquid Cold Plate?

A brazed liquid cold plate joins the flow channel plate and cover plate components into a single unit by melting the brazing filler under appropriate process conditions, forming internal flow channels.

1. Stamped Brazed Liquid Cold Plate
Stamping technology is used to process metal sheets into the desired shape and size of the liquid cold plate. The brazing process is then used to join different metal plates together to form a complete liquid cold plate.
2. Finned Liquid Cold Plate
A liquid cold plate made from metal sheets with internal channels and fin structures (typically folded fins or scraped fins) joined using brazing technology.
1. Excellent Heat Dissipation: Can serve as complex flow channel and surface structure component connections to enhance heat transfer; achieves uniform thermal conductivity using similar base materials and brazing material properties.
2. Accommodates More Complex Designs: Corresponding cold plate flow channel structures can be designed with complex channels and thin weld joints based on parameters. Suitable for high-power liquid cold plate technology, especially liquid cold plates with small flow rates, high pressure drops, and complex design structures.
3. Excellent Sealing: Strong leak resistance, making it suitable for applications with high air-tightness or liquid-tightness requirements.
1. Flow channel design: Design the cold plate flow channel structure based on manufacturing processes, product operating conditions, thermal resistance distribution, and other factors, including cold plate size, flow channel structure, and inlet/outlet positions.

Brazed Liquid Cold Plate Design Considerations

Cost-Effectiveness Considerations

01

1. Flow Channel Design: Design the cold plate flow channel structure based on manufacturing processes, product operating conditions, thermal resistance distribution, cold plate size, flow channel structure, and inlet/outlet positions.

02

2. Material Selection: Select appropriate welding and backing materials based on actual conditions. When choosing welding materials, consider factors such as chemical composition, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance to ensure weld joint quality and stability.

03

1. General Tooling Fixtures: One-time investment cost; typically no additional investment needed for product-specific design.

04

2. Batch Stability Advantage: Good consistency in batch production with strong controllability.

05

3. Yongxin Hongtai Technology can provide professional and more cost-effective recommendations based on your specific application scenarios and demand scale.
